The BCR100 is a compactly built smart card reader with dual functionalities. By having an integrated biometric fingerprint scanner, the BCR100 is able to identify and verify a user’s identity by comparing the captured image with the encrypted image of the user’s fingerprint which is stored within the user’s smart card. This ultimately provides more reliable results without increasing the processing time.
